Hi! I'm Becca!
Just a gal who loves to cook, drink wine and explore the world.
Preferably all at the same time.
Born into a family of phenomenal home cooks, my love for good food started at an early age. Between my mom, aunts and grandmothers, a scratch-made meal was on the table often - with a loud and hungry crowd always gathered 'round. You'd think growing up in a family where Thanksgiving gravy prep started in September would be enough to ignite my own interest in cooking, but it wasn't until I found myself in weekly cooking classes during a summer in Florence, Italy, did my own passion for making scratch-made meals develop.
Home Ec Bec celebrates two of my favorite things: good food and travel. And really, can you have one without the other? Not in my book. The recipes and meals I share with you all are the same one's I make for my family and friends. They are inspired by the dishes, flavors and cuisines of my travels, as well as the people I've met along the way.
